Oh, hello!

My name is Kali and this is my bio:

Born in Nashville, raised in Shreveport (Louisiana), and brought up in Columbia (Missouri). Kali has lived a nomadic lifestyle from Sweden to Boston to Chicago. She has now taken it upon herself to retrace her roots in visual storytelling and follow her own given route to stardom in Los Angeles.

Well, kind of, I’m a filmmaker and artist located in West Adams, LA. I have a nice piece of paper called a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. There I studied experimental film and printmaking. Somehow I became a film editor during and after my time there and have edited several projects, including the feature length documentary “Tony and Janina’s American Wedding.” I also am a projectionist and revisionist for film festivals around the country including Sundance and True/False. I don’t get to meet famous people, but I do get to look at them in celluloid frames.

I’m a Scorpio and currently a Master’s candidate at the University of Southern California in the School of Cinematic Arts.
